Amazing tour. More than we expected. Very worth the price.

We looked for a sunset / night time boat ride and found Padre boat tours with a google search. We didn’t expect to see dolphins, as they were not advertised, but we ran into a bunch of them as well as other wildlife. Robert was very knowledgeable and threw humor into the mix as well. Sparked conversations with passengers and had tons of advice and recommendations for places to visit and eat at.

The sunset was beautiful, he turned the boat to position us for photos and he made sure everyone on board had the chance to take pictures with the setting sun.

Robert did an amazing job as captain of the Packery Queen and the tour guide. He was super nice and funny, made us feel very comfortable and safe. Overall a amazing experience and will for sure go again next time we visit corpus and tell everyone going through corpus to try out the sunset boat ride.

Recently, some friends and I had the pleasure of booking their Fourth of July special boat tour to see the fireworks. Awesome boat trip! Best guide and tour in Corpus Christi! Recommending to everyone, worth the price for sure.

You pull up to the Packery Channel Bar and Grill and you wait at the dock to the right of the bar if you’re facing the water. It was kind of confusing for us since the boat wasn’t there when we pulled up but the boat has a sign that says “padre boat tours” you can’t miss it and the boat is called “Packery Queen”

If you’re looking for a sunset boat ride or dolphin watching cruise, this is it. The captain was very funny and knew a lot about the wildlife we came across and even knowledge of the land and buildings we would pass. He talked to everyone and made us all feel included in the experience.

We found him off of google and the website didn’t really mention dolphins but we had multiple encounters with dolphins and he let us stop and take pictures and videos of them.

Not a single bad moment on the trip, he was great at driving the boat.

The sunset was fantastic, he positioned the boat for us to do photo shoots and let all the passengers take pictures with the sun as it went down.

I’ll let all my friends and coworkers know to go here it was an amazing experience and for sure worth the money

After eyeing too-expensive private charters and questionable rental boats, I happened to spot the banners for Padre Boat Tours—I'm so glad I did! This affordable tour was extremely easy to book with online, and the owners were responsive by call and text.

Kelly Ann gave us the option to delay our booking due to the heat, but we opted to set out in the sun anyway because the Packery Queen had ample shade. My friend and I (and our small dog) were the only ones joining Captain Robert, so he let us choose the music and even personalized the tour to our goal of seeing as much wildlife as possible. From birds such as the black-crowned night-heron to redfish and more, Captain Robert's know-how for bringing us to the animals did not disappoint. The captain was insightful, kind, and engaging while still giving my friend and I space to admire the view. He also let us in on some local knowledge, suggested great places to explore, and gave us the warmest welcome to the area of anyone yet.

The boat was clean, an easy ride, and plenty large enough for a good-sized party. If you're visiting Corpus Christi, Aransas Pass, or any nearby towns, give this small, local business a chance to show you what the area has to offer.
